Industrial Talc Powder

Talcum powder is also known as magnesium silicate hydrate, soapstone (Mg₃H₂(SiO₃)₄), talcum venetum, soapstone, stealite and magnesium silicate hydrate. Talcum powder is soft, water-repellent, odorless, asbestos-free, additive-free and versatile. It makes applying latex easier (just dust the latex or apply the powder to the skin). In addition, talc prevents soft plastics, rubber or latex from sticking together due to heat or age. Talcum powder is also used as a filler in the paper and pulp, paint and coatings, rubber, plastics and ceramics industries.
